
I don't think you can compare the parking at agility shows to that at champ breed shows.
I often compete at the large agility shows at Newbury showground and leave my dogs in the car with boot open,reflective sheeting over crates,and a carnopy gazeebo over the car.
However there is no way that I would be happy to do that this weekend at Southern counties champ show which is at the same venue because the vital difefrence is that at agility shows everyone sets up base at their cars and returns to them on a regular basis.
At breed shows everything is taken into the showground and so I only ever take entered dogs to the show with me,whereas at agility the whole gang goes along for a day out.
I do think that car passes could have a ref number on them which could identify the owners,as they do at many agility shows,and owners who leave dogs in hot cars could be named and shamed as there really is no excuse for doing so
