quite a while ago i told you about a friend that took on a dog that was a nightmare, she wanted to take him to ringcraft to see if that would help with his socialisation etc but after asking on here for adivice she agreed to not take him to ring craft and things where getting worse with him, well i ended up with him and after doing agility training for quite a while now, i took him to ringcraft this week and i was so proud of him, he stood on the table and licked the lady speaking to us, i told them all about him before we took him in as we did not know how he was going to react in a hall with a lot of dogs, so when on the table she just stood and talked to me and stroked him lifted his lips for teeth and fed him he was brilliant, when the class had finished and he was saying hello to the other dogs and people got to hear about him they could not believe that a few months ago no one was allowed to touch him , handle him groom him, or he could not be around other dogs, and there he was meeting and greeting everyone. When we got in the car i am not ashamed to say i sat on the front seat of the car with him and i sobbed into his coat, i am so proud of my little man, he has come on from  a scared little dog with no purpose in life but to fight and bite, and now i have a fully functional pack dog that adores every one and everything, and does everything i ask of him i could explode with pride, my husband was with me and said that he was proud of us both, he admited at the time when i brought him in that he  thought he was untrainable and was a little more than anxious what i had taken on, but now he said you did right by the little man .

What a lovely story! I do remember you taking him on & must say you've done him such a favour!! Like you say, you've taken a very dysfunctional dog and turned his whole existence around. I'm sure he's 100% happier now that he was then.

You should rightly be very proud, I think I would have shed a tear or two also... well done!!!

My heart would be swelling with pride too.  :-)

Well done, it is just so lovely to succeed in such a dramatic turnaround.  The difference must be so satisfying.

That's amazing, must admit it brought tears to my eyes just reading your story, let alone how you must feel having been the one to turn him around!

Wow,what a lucky dog to have ended up in your care!

You should be very proud of yourself and this just goes to proove that when a dog is given an activity to focus on  it really can sometimes transform them into the dog they were meant to be.

Not only have you given a dog a second chance if life and stopped him becoming another statistic, you have given him a wonderful life and future and yourself a very close friend and companion.  Well done you, you should very rightly be proud of yourself.

WE DID IT , today Bath champ show we went onto the table walked around the ring there is things we have to work on the table he is not keen on the table and standing still is not a thing he likes doing on it, but he showed his teeth, i got him to stand , we did a triangle and and straight up and down we came 4th but you know what the best bit was when on the table the judge went over him and she said it is so nice to feel a very well muscled dog.
when we came out the ring my husband and i where both in tears you think we had come first but i am so proud of him from what he was to what he has become, so we are now on the show path and he loved it.
