Just had a call from fit and fertile, my bitch was tested today and is reading 5.4 nano grams , suggested matings thu/fri and saturday.

i have seen the table posted here but that is in nano mols, what does 5.4 grams equate to in nano mols.

on that reading has she actually just ovulated ?

To convert readings for serum progesterone from ng  to nmol x by 3.18 and use table previously logged.

5.4 ng is equal to 17.172 nmol so ovulation impending or just occurred - estimated breeding window 2 -4 days
After ovulation eggs take a further 2 days to mature and be ready for fertilisation hence wait of 2 days post ovulation for natural service ... Would be longer for AI with frozen semen
