Just to let you know that Dime is doing great. She has to stay in her crate for 3 weeks to allow the ligament to finish healing. As she has no support we cannot risk her jumping up on the furniture and rupturing the ligament again. Its only her first day in the crate and she is so unhappy as she usually only sleeps on beds and furniture. It will all be worth it in the end but I hate to see her sad.

Hi Sue
Glad to hear that Dime is doing well. The three weeks will soon pass but I'm sure you'll be ticking off the days on the calendar :)

I feel for you! We had to keep our lab off his feet for nearly two weeks because he severely cut one of his pads. Poor things don't seem to understand that it's all for their own good!
