A random question, but what do you use to store rosettes etc? Mine are just in a drawer but would like to put them somewhere a bit more safe from getting ruined but not sure if I should get a display or some sort of briefcase for them?

i had a nice  display  cabinet  made for my  "nicest" ones ;)

My Rosettes go on the walls in the office, the dogs have a ring biner each with their pictures on the front and cards, write ups, and various good cit or character assesment certificates etc.. (Except CC's) go in there. If we are lucky enough to win a CC the cards from the day go in the folder but the certificate's from the KC get framed and hung in the hallway.

Mine are in boxes...The ones you "pop" together...They are just the right size to put certificates in...If you want a couple I`ll bring them to Bath for you :)

Rosettes all go on the wall for a year then they go in boxes too.

Don't forget you get 2 cards for a CC -one stiff card signed on the day, and one A4 posted to you, so I have the thinner unsigned ones in ringbinders and the cards framed. (Very very difficult to finds frames that fit CCs though!)

My GC certs all go in ringbinders as do Crufts prize cards. All other prizecards only get kept if no rosette were with them (i.e. champshionship show ones, open show card are binned), stuffed into a box in my wardrobe, or usually found all over the house before I put them away. I used to have BB, BD, RBB, RBD, BP, BOB cards etc framed but took them down and I honestly haven't a clue what I've done with them now. Rosettes go on the wall if they are anything special such as BB, BV, BP, BOB, BIS etc, not just class placings.  I wish I knew how to keep them dust free.

Mine are on the wall, one cork board for each dog. I need to re-organise again though, I have a bunch to add and no room for them! Also I can't bear to take Henry's down to make room for the newer dogs, even though he's been gone 2 years.... Henry's CC and his ShCM certificate are framed and on the wall too - I got a frame from Dalsetter which is just the right size. :-)

Ikea do 3D frames and I have my special rosettes in them - keeps them dust free and tidy :) others are handed back or in a box in in the loft ;)

We used to have a peg board in the study, but since moving house they are in a bag in the shed but what takes pride of place as you walk in our back door is a huge frame with a picture of my boy,his rosette, card, and number from his second place at Crufts..I do wish I could still have them on display though!!!humm a redesign in the summer house needed I think yep another job for a nice day!!

Oh no, I couldn't ever do that either.  Henry won the right to deserve his success being on show.  You are right not to remove him!  :-)

Loads of ideas here, thanks. Think ring binders sound a good idea. I'd like to frame my older bitch's first 'first' at Crufts. I was going to do a peg board, I might do that for rosettes and then ring binders for cards etc. Thanks everyone.

Each of my dogs had their own ring binder with clear A4 pockets in which are their pedigrees, KC Reg, health test certs, CC's, litter details.

Each year they have a pocket for their cards champ shows to the front and open shows on the reverse, and at the end of the year two sheets of A4 go on the visible front and back, so the cards are sandwhiched between, with the results for each show.

Rosettes are hung up for the year, bagged, labelled and sat in teh wardrobe (the stakc is getting taller and taler over 20 years worth).

Jozi's folder with now 13 show seasons worth of cards/results is getting very fat.

We used to have a board with all the rosettes, then it changed to just firsts as we ran out of room. With Teasel I started to create a scrapbook with all her cards, rosettes and critiques in but I keep forgetting to update it.

All rosettes go to  CD member Spout for her charity dog shows. Ive kept a couple of big BIS at breed club rosettes and 2 rare sashes but thats it.
Any I've won recently hang around till next clear out time.
All CCs and red BOB cards bunged on top af a cabinet.
All other important health related stuff in each individual dogs folder.

Oh good, I'm glad you agree! I was thinking I could probably bear to get rid of the red rosettes, there's 3 long rows of those all overlapping tightly. Then the 3 long rows of BOB and Group placings and BVIS etc could probably be squeezed onto one of the smaller boards.....
- By Henri3402 [gb] Date 17.05.12 16:33 UTC
I put BOBs, Group placings and BVISs on pin boards on the landing, prize cards get pasted into scrap books and crits are pasted underneath. All other rosettes go into a bag for recycling for charity shows. Everything else dog related eg health test results and certificates are in files.
