Our puppy Moose Great Dane Red Nose Pit is 7 months 80.96 pounds and stands
26 3/4" tall from feet to shoulders. She is still pretty lanky do wonder if she is gonna get taller which would be nice.
Do you think she will fill out more? As in get a wider spread on her or just stay tall and slim so to speak?

I no kinda hard to tell since she is a cross. She is really turning into a beautiful dog, have had many compliments
on her already on how pretty she is.

Nope not spayed yet- waiting on her to fully mature so prob by the time she is 2-3yrs old.
What age do you figure is the best time to spay her for full maturity? She has not come into heat yet and am hoping
not until she is at least 18 months lol What age do Danes usually have their 1st heat? Gonna have fun kenneling my
little boston and he is gonna get so rangy that's for sure. That will be a fun time -Not :-D

Thank you :-)

At 7 months I'd say she certainly has some filling out to do, I'm just guessing, basing it on dogs I've had, but I wouldn't think she'd be properly filled out until 2 or 3.

My lurcher, who is a tall dog, didn't seem to stop growing upwards till he was nearly 2! Can't help re filling out, lurchers stay skinny forever :)

You could probably expect upward growth to stop between 10 and 14 months and then you'll find she'll change again and fill out til she's 2 or more.  My breed (Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla) still change quite a lot after that and they don't look like mature adults til they are 3 years old - particularly heads...

Thanks :-)

I really hope she does fill out a lil more thats for sure. Like you said she is still very much a puppy being only 7 months.
Not planning on spaying till 2 or so, so hopefully that gives her plenty of time to mature properly.
28" would be nice to lol- don't think she will get as tall as a Dane, am hoping she gets some muscle from the pitt so she
doesn't look as lanky as she does now. Either was she is a real joy and likes to talk alot- she always has something to say,
she's pretty funny that way haha :-)
