Has anyone had any experince of the company Animal Aunts (a pet sitting service)?

I've never used Animal Aunts, but I have found "Minders Keepers" to be very good, if that's any help.

no, but I looked into it when I had a hospital visit last year & it was going to cost me about £80 a day for my lot!!!! :(

Dogsitters are very good and will look after your dogs/animals in your home or those, they can choose how much they charge so prices may vary, you will find the more dogs you have the more they charge, they may also charge more for more active and younger dogs.
Best of luck

I found a dog sitter through my local vets. They don't really recommend any, but if you look at their notice board or ask them if they know of anyone, they may well be able to help. The lady I found had an advert at my local vets. She's wonderful with the dogs and I trust her completely. She doesn't actually stay in the house when we're away, but she walks my two dogs three times a day, and takes them around to her house in the evenings. She's charges a very reasonable price.

Be ware of this kind of arrangement as boarding someone elses dog in your home for money is illegal unless you have a licence!

Aunty Lara's a freebie if I get a day off afterwards to recover! :D

Thanks everyone for your replies. They've quoted me 46 pounds a day, that's for 3 mini dachsies and eight guinea pigs, which i don't think is a bad price. However you would think that my so called friends would offer (even though they have to work, Lara). Maybe it's because my lot are quite hard work. Well you know dachsies, they've got a mind of their own.

Minders Keepers charged us (summer 2002) £26 house, +£1.85 per dog (any size) + VAT. Our 2 guinea-pigs were included in the price.

The house was cleaner than when I left it (and by crikey, I'd gone overboard!!) and all animals were well and happy.
