Has anyone any ideas please?????

Zuma has a sore nose, the part where his nostrils turn into his upper lip - the part below the actual openings of his nostrils - are raw looking and earlier over the field his face was a bit wet (longish grass) I got diluted blood on my hand when giving him a treat.
I noticed it was a bit pink on Mon but is a lot worse looking today. I would have thought he had caught it on something but both sides are the same.
He is booked in the Vets in the morning but anyone seen anything similar???
