Unfortunately pup is VERY car sick (no drooling, happy to go in car etc) but is very sick if he travels anywhere other than on the front seat.  I've been recommended to try Stugeron but am unsure how much to give him.  It says children 5-12 years 1 tablet on the pack so I was thinking half seeing as he is about 12-13 kilos?

I give a full tablet to extremely car sick Papillons weighing just 3kgs. Found less did not work and was recommended this by my mentor in the breed. Obviously it's not on a regular basis, usually once a fortnight.

My whippet 'Stanley' can do 15 mins max in the car before he is sick. Anything over this, he is still on Stugeron. I started off giving him  1/2 a tablet to begin with & now give just 1/4. A whippet is no where as heavy as a 12 yr old child. I would try 1/2 to begin with & make sure that you give it 1 to 2 hrs before he travels. My GSD was around 4 yrs of age before he grew out of it, hoping Stanley the whippet grows out of it too!

So we tried him with a 1/4 last night and it worked!!  No sick in either direction of the journey.  We are hoping that this will work but will keep an eye as obviously it is early days.  Thanks all.
