I have just got the annual ant break out in the house, but we are getting a puppy soon so what do you all use ?

I put talcum powder down if it's indoors - they don't like walking through it for some reason and disappear off outdoors again.

Someone told me to find out where they come in and put a ring of salt round the hole.
