Just seen an advert for a brindle stud dog, rare from Hungary, never heard of this colour?

As far as I know this is not a recognised colour and would not do the breed any favour at all but things change and it may be they are now popular - I did think that any marking on the Pug should be clear and precise but I could be wrong not a Pug specialist not even studied them.

No not a recognised colour in our breed.

No Pugs, don't come in Brindle (rare or not ) nor White (very rare!).  I know lots of Pug crosses in Brindle ( not at all rare).  It's difficult for the "rare" colour scam artists in a breed with only 3 recognised colours, so they either misdescribe (Rare Silvers are actually smutty fawn, a fault) or label cross bred as Pedigree.
