How could this poor lad recover from that? I don't think I have ever seen such a thin dog. Thank goodness he is now recovered.

That is scary. I dont know how he had the stregth to hold his head up looking at the size of him. As you said Merlot, i dont think i've ever seen such a thin dog (especially alive). He looks an absolutely beauty now.

That is horrific. Like others have said I have never seen such a thin dog, not even the ones on the SPCA programmes that are found dead. I don't know how he was still alive and managed to recover. Amazing, and I hope he finds the best home ever!

That is awful it almost looks photoshopped it is so out of proportion, we really need to have longer sentences for these vile people :-(
So pleased he looks a happy chappy now i'd take him home any day.

I couldn't take him home, I would probably send him off the scale in the other direction, I would feel that bad for his past life!  And we call ourselves a civilised race?

Poor, poor dog. I am speechless, I don't know what to say, I'm honestly speechless. They have done a fantastic job of him turning around. I want him! (I have to say the article isn't very well written, I cringe every time someone calls Nando an alsation, or worse an 'ally'
- By white lilly [gb] Date 24.04.12 22:05 UTC
OMG ive cried just looking at the pictures, what that poor boy has gone though!!! parrysite i hate ppl calling our dogs alsations :(
- By parrysite [gb] Date 24.04.12 22:26 UTC
White Lilly, it really does annoy me a ridiculous amount. I always point out that they haven't been called Alsatians for at least 10 years!
- By white lilly [gb] Date 25.04.12 07:13 UTC
yes!!! i can even say i hate the term "alsation" and what makes me LOL is people say the long coats are german sheps and short alsations Grrrrrrr stupid ppl!!
- By furriefriends Date 25.04.12 07:45 UTC
Oh yes get it all the time still I would rather they called them alsations and treated them well people can be despicable
- By furriefriends Date 25.04.12 07:48 UTC
Huh civilised not ! Think that more and more
- By AlisonGold [gb] Date 25.04.12 09:06 UTC
The sentences metered out are just not long enough! Poor animals are such easy targets for evil people.
