my 8 month old chi has just been sick twice, it was white foam. she looks okay in herself, should i be concerned?

If she is not bringing up food etc she is looking well? .It might be a hair stuck , half teaspoon honey  might help ...and just watch her .

yes she is still eating food and having her daily cuddles and snoozes. she seems compleatly herself in general just was a bit sick this morning :(

Might be same as us ...just a 'frog in her throat ' heating , dust ...have you heating on as its cold , dries airways out , did you sweep up ?

If she goes in the garden or a walk she might want a bit of grass, , she might feel that will sort herself out .Hope she's fine .

Dont want to worry you but i recently lost my new puppy at 10wks old ,she tryed to vomit but just white foam,seemed like she couldnt drink ,i gave her liquid parafin, she drank some after that and seemed ok, this was in the evening,the next morning she was collapsed and in pain,i rushed her to the vets at 7.45 by 9.15 she was gone the vets were shocked as was i, she has been sent for autopsy and hopefully itll tell us why,the prelim said no blockage found and not parvo,so still in the dark have to wait till end of the month,so all i can say is watch her carefully and if in doubt go to the vets ,i thought my baby was ok .Hope all turns out well.:)  

Why on earth would you give liquid paraffin to a vomiting pup?

How many meals a day is your dog eating?

At 10 weeks old, I am worried that you self medicated.  Sorry, see someone else has questioned this too, but at 10 weeks nobody should second guess.

Mine do it occasionally even as pups as long as everthing else is fine and its only once or twice i dont worry. They usually have a go at the grass aswell if feeling a bit sick. I also have chi well a cross chi 1

Hi ,she was not vomating as trying to get something from her throat with a little bit of white spit comming up, ,yrs ago when we had a corgi the same thing happend and the vet told us a small amount will help dislodge it and help it pass smoothly.My present vet told me this would not have harmed my pup as it was a very small amount ,she seemed ok after and even had a drink which she didnt do before .
