does anyone have an imformation sheet that they give new owners on advice for care for they new puppy
i want to put it in their puppy pack but not very good on setting it out properly withot it sounding too formal

I do but it is aimed at my breed. Most information sheets are breed specific. :-(

I think that is a contract rather than an information sheet.  As Aileen says these things are generally very breed specific so, hard to advise when we cannot know the breed.  The OP could try their breed club for advise if they are not too good at composing these things.  Even looking at their website may provide enough copy to cover the areas they would like to although I suppose that may be held under copyright.  Could be enough for inspiration though :)

Might run to a couple of sheets :)

Try starting with a few headings that you want to cover ie:
Feeding
Grooming
Housing
Exercise
Training and Socialisation
Endorsements
Neutering
and give the relevant information for your breed.  I'm sure you have it all in your head :) but as I say, have a look at your breed club website, chances are all the subjects are covered there apart from, perhaps feeding and exercising in the early months.

Don't worry about your writing ability the catch all is to put your phone number at the bottom and remind them that you are always there if they need further help or information :)

I do my own with info much as stooge has said. I have emailed a detailed amount of toilet training info to an owner I thought it would benefit too. I say they must consult their vet wrt vaccinations and worming programmes as I find vets vary on their advice on this, but do mention what I prefer.
