hi there my bitch was mated on 6th march...she is showing all the signs ,,large nipples and her belly is getting very large...i have increased her food and she is also eating puppy food..(an idea on another site to increase her vitamins)...i noticed this morning she had a snot like discharge hanging down i wiped it and she lost a little more.i have read some of your other posts and some say its normal some not...it doesnt seem to smell or anything...she just seems moody tho lol...and hungry all the time...shes my baby and i want her and the pups to be happy and heathly

Have you had her scanned to confirm pregnancy? What colour is the discharge ?

not scanned yet...but her belly is v swollen ...its like a white snotty looking discharge was hanging like string

Sounds entirely normal for a pregnant bitch.

one of my bitches has this on two matings, once at 13 days in and then 8 days, she was always scanned empty :(   she was mated at optimum times aswell.

Hi. My bitch was also mated on March 6th and i have also seen some clear stringy discharge. Mentioned it to my vet whilst having her scanned and he said it was normal. My bitch sleeping and eating alot too. Feeding fresh fish/ cooked chicken mixed with Royal Canin. Sleeping either on my bed or in the daytime on her duvet under the gazebo. Nothing for it but to join her and chill out in the sun!

Babe was bred on march 3 and had discharge on the 38th day! she eats like a monster but is still kind of active :) her belly did not grow a lot though.

Heya Eden my bitch is on day 48 now she was confirmed on Monday :) she's had the snotty stringy stuff too.  She's getting big now and slowing down but her appetite is still big lol xx
