do i have to go in my breed class at champ shows or can i go in veteran stakes on its own?

No need to enter a breed class if you don't want to do so with regards to Verteran stakes .. Same applies to champions

Unfortunately at some shows you'll have to pay CC price for stakes only, regardless if your breed has them on the day, so it sometimes woks out cheaper to enter both the breed and stakes.

IMO stakes only should only ever be NON CC price as your not competing for the CC.
