i mated my girl on 2 previous time but she never took , this time i mated her day 14/16 of her season with 15 min ties each time, but i was confused because my old boy [ neutered ] never shown any interest in her and he is usually spot on with the girls , anyway a week after the mating he started humping her and going mad so i had a idea i might have mated her too early , so i took her back got another straight forward mating , now she's been scanned with 2 or 3 ,  now i am wondering which mating she's taken from, she isn't showing any signs other than not eating very well but would she at 5 weeks if shes only having a small litter , i have learned a great lesson from this bloodtest , i have booked 2 weeks off work  so i would be with her both dates , i am just confused about changing over onto puppy food, and worming ,

if it was me id of asked the scanner to tell me how many days they looked on the scan ,what date could she have been when you had her scanned?? that might help with knowing.

i did mention it to the vet, he said that he had not done many scans before just bloodtesting but the blobs look well established , she would have been 33 days from 1st mating 26 from last ,

my guess is she took at 1st mateing then cus if your vet hadnt done many he may have missed them if they were 26days from last mating??
