Hi, i always enjoy reading peoples experiences of their pregnant girls and how many puppies they have. Well i would just like to share my friends exciting news.
Her girl delivered 9 puppies on mon evening. First one born at 5.15pm and the last one born 9pm. She had 5 girls and 4 boys. The only thing is she is still a bit loose, is this normal?. What should she be eating to feed 9 puppies, at the moment she has got her on puppy food. Also is it alright to give her lactol?.

My bitch was loose for a few days, I think it's the placenta eating that does it! My bitch was eating 3 times her normal amounts at first, just starting to reduce that now weaning has started. What sociable hours for pups to be born, I'm jealous!

I had promised to be with her so was highly relieved that it was at a sociable hour.I expected it to be through the night. And so quick as well. Thank you for your reply. The puppies are doing very well and its good to hear of other peoples experiences,  especially regarding feeding and loose stools. I hope your puppies are well, did you have an easy whelping?
