Just wondered if anyone knows what a Belgian Shepherd has been crossed with to produce a Dutch Shepherd? (I don't want one, just curious) :)

Dutch are a breed in their own right,believed to have similar origins to the Belgians and have been around for roughly the same time.

DS or as they are more correctly termed, Hollandse Herders, are a breed in their own right.

There are a few in the UK.

However it is true to say that you will often find DS x BSD (Malinois) as sports or police dogs.
