I live in France and have registered one litter here and am about to register my next oneI am quite confused, mainly because the breeds are not mentioned, as follows:
As far as the protection breeds are concerned, certainly in Italy, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Sweden, etc, etc, the breed registration clubs are the ones who register litters, hold & design the fit for purpose breed tests, licence judges, hold the international breed championship show awards and everything else official.
If the
national kennel club show wants to judge the breed they have to apply for a licence to the breed club for any judge they chose, only the national breed club can grant the licence. The national kennel club in Germany is only classed as a sort of enthusiastic amature, all breed club by the specific protection breed club. Only the individual protection breed clubs can award the official national breed champion title, in fact & in short, the national breed club has the whole say goes with its breed.
As an example below is the German breed registration club (not my breed), only they have any say in the GSD in Germany providing they conform to their contract aggreement with FCI, so my question is, is there some difference in France? or are people at cross purposes by confusing the non FCI UK Kennel & individual breed clubs standards with Europe, who are members of FCI, with the European norms? OR, are you all talking about dogs which do not fall into any of the 'working groups'?
