Anyone know how often the bva hip scoring panel are sitting at the moment xx

I spoke to them on thursday and they are sitting weekly at the moment but have approx 3 week waiting time. They did sit yesterday so those scores will be sent out Monday 2nd class.

Thanks for that, my girl had hers done on 6th march and I am getting impatient, so hopefully not long to wait now xx

They did say that if your vet rings up they will tell him the result.

Well after thinking I would have news have still not heard anything, rang vet Thursday and they not heard, BVA finally cashed my cheque Thursday so surely can't be long now ( 4 weeks Tuesday coming ) , have checked, double checked and even triple checked mate select and not on there ! Suspense is killing e xx

My Vet rang last week and got our result, form came through the next day. Our x ray was sent 1st March and scored on 23rd

Interesting my vet says that the BVA wont accept cheques from 'clients' - I guess unless they have them and ensure they're ok beforehand... I always pay my vet and they pay the BVA.  I suspect that this then is processed quicker than a cheque but I don't know

We have always been asked by vet for cheque for BVA , used different vet this time he came highly recommended as does by heavy sedation rather than a general x

Glad it was good news, it can feel like an age whilst you're waiting to hear can't it?! :-)

I've also written a cheque to the BVA when hip scoring!
