I know this breed of dog goes for about £1000-1200 as a puppy but how much would I be looking to pay for something a bit older say 8 or 9 months?  Do they lose their value and if so why?  If they have been kept by a breeder, been trained etc and looking for a new home through no fault of their own, what price should I expect to pay?  Many thanks

If the breeder is a well respected show person, she may well have run on a pup that perhaps has not come up to show expectations.

However, if you are wanting a pet, but looking for health tested dogs, I can't see you paying under £800.  I know I would be prepared to pay this for a well bred pedigree pet.

It is very hard to say, but i think Jean is about right, I can't remember ever selling one at this age so don't have my own experience to rely on.
