My sister and I want to take my mum away in September for 5 days back to some of her old 'haunts' in Devon. Can anyone help with looking for a holiday park that will allow 3 dogs?

My sister (bit of a party girl) wants entertainment and a bar, but I will be taking my 3 dogs so we are trying to find somewhere suitable to accomodate us all without success..... My mum is easy going and will love having the dogs with us, but she will enjoy eating out and a few drinks...

Help anyone, I am just about tearing my hair out??

I use landmark trust properties, most allow dogs, some don't, great if you like historical & unusual properties.

I have used welcome cottages a few times now and have take 4 dogs to a cottage in cornwall last year. I find that most say they accept 2 dogs but if you ring the enquiry number with your choice of cottage they will ask the owners if they will accept 3 dogs we have done this a few times too never been refused yet. They do ask what the breed is which probably helps with thier decision. I always make sure I leave any of the cottages even cleaner than I find them which leaves it open for if and when I wish to return.

also Hoseasons take pets  they also do parks.

Several years ago, when I could only find places that would take one toy dog, I emailed Torquay Tourist Board.

They were so very helpful, even asking a bungalow owner whether they could take more than their usual 2 dogs, if the dogs were trained.  I was allowed to take 2 Bearded Collies, a Toy Poodle, and a medium sized terrier.  We had a fabulous time, and I couldn't fault the customer service at Torquay Tourist Board.

Where abouts in Devon are you thinking? Devons where i live but if you could narrow it down that would help me to tell you where would be an option and where to steer clear of :-)

Ross Park at Ipplepen.  Has restaurant, bar and 2 dedicated dog walks. I take my three gundogs there, and people use it when the are showing at Paignton.  It is so good though that you have to book well in advance. Caravans, motorhome and tents.

Thanks all for all your suggestions, I will check them all out over the weekend..... the trouble is that I am happy with dog walks and a restaurant, but my party loving sister wants entertainment... so we are trying to find something to suit us all, as mum will just go with the flow...

Freds Mum, I haven't really got an area in mind as I don't know Devon at all apart from Kennford where a friend lives... mum spent a lot of time at Dawlish when she was growing up, so we definitely want to go and visit there..

Every other time I have been to the South West it is on a dog friendly farm in Cornwall, but it is far too remote for my party loving sister !!!
