I took my 6 month old Munster boy, Ike, to his first show on Saturday (HPR Club of Scotland) He won the PG class, then went BPIB and RBOB. He was the 3rd from that litter to go BP as 2 of his siblings got this the weekend before. He beat another litter brother into 2nd place at the show. The following day another litter brother went to a show and won best AVNSC and then went on to get Puppy Group 4. Can't wait to see what the others in the litter do when they are shown for the first time.
He is a dream to live with, which is far more important to me. He is also going to gundog training, so is definately 'fit for purpose'. Actually, it's me that needs the training, not him, I have never trained a gundog before, it was always up to my ex's, so this is a new experience for me. To have a dog that can show and work is something I have always wanted, so hope I can keep up with his training after the classes end in a few weeks.
