hello just a general question on nutri drop giving in a whelping bitch would like your opinion to weather you would or would not give nutri drops to a bitch giving birth to help with energy in between each pups some peoples views are they like to use them as helps the bitch in birth and some people say they dont think makes a difference any advice appricated thanx

I would if the mum is haveing a long wait and getting very tired its not going to harm so why not try!!

alot use glucose powder and add to bitches drink.

You're asking about all sorts :) I'd still use Glucose rather than Nutri-Drops ... have a look at ingredients. I haven't but I'll bet Nutri-Drops & Glucose are same but the latter a portion of the price :-D

a good re-hydration home made  for whelping bitches was given to me many years ago by a farmer he used it on all his livestock and working collie bitches  Here is the recipe
Boil water for 5 mins in a non aluminum pan and with lid off
When cooled add to 1pint 1/2 tsp salt
                                    1/2 tsp bicarb,
                                    Good desert sp glocose
Should glocose not be availabe, Honey will do failing having honey use  sugar I give this as a drink or drench if the bitch is very tired also give this for a couple days post whelping
