Have you tried phoning around local boarding kennels and asking? We usually employ extra staff over the holiday periods as it gets so busy, especially in the summer :)

I haven't but I have got a job at the moment so I could only do weekends unless it was a full time job (bills to pay ) do you think this would be the best path or volenteer wor or courses ? It's just hard to find the right path cheers

If you cant find a job at the moment then i would definitely recommend doing some volunteer work. It looks good on your CV and gives you some experience to refer back to in an interview situation. Good Luck :-)

I'd still ring round and ask if there was any weekend work available over the summer, and if not offer to volunteer. This will be great experience, good for your cv and better still give you an idea if it is the kind of route you want to take :) not all kennels advertise, it's word of mouth and people getting in touch directly and asking.

Good luck.
