I'm feeling smug as I picked them both, though loved all the dogs. Rather shocked by the rude comments being made on fb - wish people could just say they preferred another dog instead of slagging off the poor dog. But I doubt her owner will see the comments or indeed care! :-)

Yes there is no need to try and ruin someones win, people should just be courteos and congratulate regardless.

both looked immaculate, behaved beautifully and looked healthy happy dogs much loved by owners. well done!

I did rather like the Irish water spanial too but a bit too naughty for that level ! would rather see too much spirit then too little though and a smashing looking dog.

Oh definitely, hubby was tutting at how Merlin was playing around and I was saying that Frank Kane would know perfectly well that the breed tend to be clowns, and he did settle down and move nicely after a bit. I thought he was in with a good chance too.

I loved that a couple of them were a little playful, especially the Pom! Lovely win for them both, must admit I was surprised at how reserved she was about it though, lol!

Elizabeth is a worthy winner and I had the pleasure of handling her a few weeks ago at the dog world /eukanuba meet the experts workshop at stoneleigh.

She is a beautiful dog and her owner a very nice lady who generously gave her time up to advise on grooming and handling and allowed those present the opportunity to handle Elizabeth.

Also pleased that Buster the RAf search dog won friends for life as my husband has just retired from the RAf police and I know what a wonderful job these dogs do on the frontline in very difficult circumstances and also how they help to boost the troops morale.

I remember Saxonsprings Hackensack appearing at a local exemption  show near Oxford, and Jean Blythe allowing us hands on ...a great privilege . I daresay Mrs Anderson is completely overcome at the moment , there were high profile dogs there like the OES winning all over Europe, she  was very shocked.

> Elizabeth is a worthy winner

I remembered watching the Eukanuba World Challenge live streaming where a UK-owned and bred Lhasa was highly placed in the Finals... so I was really pleased to see the same one win BIS!

This year's Crufts is probably the most international yet, thanks to the relaxation of quarantine, with exhibitors coming from all over the world; so it is fantastic that a world-class dog from the UK which has won at major competitions overseas has been given the ultimate accolade in her own country :)

Absolutely adored that rather mischievous little pom, what a character. beautiful little dog too. I have watched him on you tube several times today and the pomeranian is not a breed I ever really taken any notice of before, but he truly captured my heart !
