This is just a bit of a long shot that there's a reason/solution to Spuds burgeoning Buddha belly.
As some may know, he recently started on Epiphen for seizures ( 13 days fit free :-) ) and Epiphen does give him a bit of an appetite, but he hasn't put on much weight according to the scales in the vets, certainly not enough to account for his rather rotund tum. It does go down a bit over night and isn't uncomfortable or tender in the slightest ( going by the way he flops down into the panting belly flop when he's cooked himself in front of the stove ). He is a bit pumpy, especially at night, he's fed mainly raw, with some Orijen kibble a few times a week, as he's having to take so many tablets he gets them in a very small piece of pate ( tried everything else this is the only thing he'll take them in )
I've also just wormed him on the off chance.
Any thoughts ?

Can't think of any reasons or solutions for you. But I'm really pleased for you that Spud's been 'fit free' for 13 days; that's really good. It sounds as if he's responding well to his meds and if you think he's not uncomfortable then maybe his Buddha belly doesn't matter too much. But perhaps someone else may be able to offer some good first-hand advice.

First thoughts would be worming, as you say, or possibly Cushing's disease - assuming it's not a side effect of the meds, of course.  Best to have a word with the vet I think.

Never thought of Cushings, he'll be back into the vets to check his bloods next week, I'll see what they think then.

My first thought was Cushings too. Should be easy enough for the vets to diagnose/rule out.  13 days fit free, good news, long may it continue :)

his tum seems to have gone down quite a bit this evening, so possibly was worms ( i think I'll still mention the Cushings to the vet though as it would be a possible answer to his fits ), would worming him possibly give him a sore belly ?. He had panacur granules at the recommended dose last night and was fine, but he had a bout of what appeared to be stomach ache mid morning, not long after he'd had a meal, he appeared to be ok 2 hours later.
