I'm currently trying to work out when my puppy will be ready for its first outing so I can enter a few shows but keep coming up with different dates! Am I right in thinking that 6 Calendar months is 24 weeks, so the puppy first outing can be week 24. So a puppy born on the 11/10/2011 will be out on the 27/03/2012? Rather than simply counting months which would be 11/04/2012?

It counts from the date of the month so born 11/10/11 can be shown on 11/04/12.

Well that clears that up! I was going 24 weeks from the week after the date of birth, which was causing the confusing!

6 calendar months is exactly that.

Just be careful with Championship shows held over several days that your puppy is six months old on the first day of the show.  That can catch people out.
