CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP ME-I'M AT THE END OF THE ROAD WITH THIS!! I
HAVE A 8 MONTH OLD MALE BOXER DOG WHO SINCE THE AGE OF 7 1/2 WEEKS HAS BEEN EATING HIS OWN FAECES WHICH HE THEN PROCEEDS TO SICK UP EVERYWHERE AND ALSO DECIDES TO MESS OVER THE KITCHEN FLOOR! i HAVE TRIED SEVERAL ITEMS IN HIS FOOD I.E PINEAPPLE,COURGETTES,RAW MUSHROOMS BUT TO NO AVAIL. hE HAS BEEN GIVEN A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH FROM THE VETS AND IS WELL LOVED AND LOOKED AFTER. HE SHARES OUR HOME ALSO WITH MY 4 1/2 YEAR OLD MALE BOXER WHO HE GETS ON WITH VERY WELL. HE IS FED ON BUTCHERS TRIPE(CAN) WITH JAMES WELLBELOVED DRY MIX. IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL!! THANK YOU.

Probably the easiest solution is to pick it up before he is able to eat it.
I have this problem with one of mine, not eating his own but other dogs pooh. I have decided to get a basket muzzle for him when he is out on walks. However i wouldn't want him to wear it in the garden, so therefore have to be quick on my feet, and get it before he does.
In DW today someone mentioned that since they have been feeding their dogs a whole boiled egg each per day (does not say whether shelled) they have stopped eating their own mess. The same column also suggests 1/2 ring of pineapple - how much were you feeding?
