Advert on a local FB page
May have FOR SALE a rootwieler bitch, 14 months old, kc reg WITH PAPERS, has got tail, The reason i maybe selling her is because she has taken a disliking to my son and has bitten him, so because of this i dont know if i can trust her again. the only thing i would ask is that my dog goes to a home with older children like 5/6 + as she is brill with my daughter and baby, just doesnt like my son. I want £300 for her and will obviously transfer the ownership too. please inbox me if anyone is interested as i say it is a maybe at the mo.
Where do you start?

I get so incensed with things like this, that I jump in and type out my response!

Then I read it through and delete it. And remind myself that I can't change the world, and it's ridiculous getting in a state over things. But, of course, next time it happens, I get just as wound up! :-)
can understand that,so do I .the word"pratts"comes to mind-its the dogs that suffer, passed down the line, and no say in it.
I do the exact same thing Jean, type a huge response, get about half way through, and just delete it. It's the most irritating thing to read things like that, I don't even let myself look at the local 'pets' pages on FB. Too many heart-breaking puppies or dogs, being traded like cattle.

I would start by asking about the circumstance surrounding the bite and go from there - it might be a case of just needing to learn a few signals from the dog (and teach the child them) to keep everything safe and keep her where she is.
I too want to type out a big angry response - but I find it more useful to just ask a few simple questions.

I'd personally look about also alerting the Rottweiler breed rescues.

Snap!
Ive lost count the number of times Ive typed out a response to things then delete it....Ive got to the stage of ...whats the point?! :(
Waggamamma - I don't even "trade" my cattle like this! They only go to approved and interviewed buyers :)

Music to my ears. :-) :-)
Sorry, just an expression; so glad to hear cattle aren't even traded so thoughlessly!
