Reply number 9 is from a chap who appears to sell puppy's from a number of different sources

[bAlso for your information I am totally against what the KC stand for and so are my breeders. Not one of our puppies are registered with the KC as we refuse to line the pockets of people who promote irresponsible dog breeding. All our pups are bred as companion pets and all our breeders are licensed with their councils.]

He makes this statement as if it's something to be proud off.

Thanks to PDE, he is able to make that statement.   Many of the public who know no better and only have that programme as information believe the same :(

The maker of that programme has done more for Puppy Farming than anyone could have imagined :(

Exactly and is this really what she was aiming for?  If so, then my impression is even lower.  Sadly more people like him who are in reality puppy farmers will breed more and more because of course they are not KC bred or shown so obviously are healthier and better breeders to get them from!

Good points, I think I'll see if I can get that link onto the Dogs Today blog .

yes this is the unfortunate outcome of PDE - that irresponsible breeders can now make a 'virtue' out of their irresponsibility!

He was a pet shop licence holder in Kent who sold puppies from his shop plus birds, reptiles and small furries I believe, this shop closed, he blamed it onto protesters who campaigned outside his premises.  He then opened another in Biggen Hill, Kent which again closed quite unexpectedly.  He is threatening to open another which would not surprise me, he has suggested it maybe Surrey, then I heard Essex so who knows where he wil pop up again but I am sure those in the know will be ready and waiting.
