Thanks for the update, hope the cortisone helps. Best wishes to you both.

As you may have read, Spud has a suspected brain tumour, I found this article very interesting http://petcancercenter.org/files/Nutrition_and_cancer_by_Dr_Ogilvie.pdf

He's already on a raw diet, but i've also added, Selenium, Argnine, the enzyme supplement mentioned and vits ABC and E, it won't cure him, but might give him a bit extra time.

Here's hoping you still have some quality time with her (((((((hug))))))

The steroids will help with any inflammation as well as improve appetite if needs be.

Hopefully her quality of life will continue to be good for some time to come.

Her appetite has dropped - quite the change from the dog I had to feed 4 times a day on uberfood (75% meat kibble) to stop her clearing the garden of poo and digging holes to eat the earth.  Still eating her food with gusto mind, but that is a change - not sure I want it back how it was lol!

She's been much better today though, I gave her the first lot with her tramadol at 11am and she's definitely happier.  She kept her stamina up for her whole walk this afternoon, and she's just been snoozing since - no odd whines or whimpers and no grumping at anyone.  And, she barked and bounced for her dinner which she hasn't done in a while.  :-)

Celli - thanks for that, I'll have a look :-)

It'll also be a bit easier now my lodger has gone, no-one to randomly appear and get her excited so she bounces around too much and hurts herself (and no-one to drive me nuts!).

Thanks Jean.

She has really picked up on the cortisone, and we managed our photoshoot - I'm also going back next week with everyone else to get them done too!  Photographer is going to photoshop everyone for me so I have a "group" photo with Tia in, because I couldn't take her with them all.  Very impressed.

Going with this photo:

It's just right, she looks stronger in this one than the others and the ears are spot on :-)
