There was a case in Dog World this week where the Ombudsman has said that Halifax have to top up a members insurance to cover the shortfall caused by their pulling out of the pet insurance market. It runs along the vein of them stating life cover when in fact there is now not life cover by them. Hope you are getting on okay with your claim against them
