Hi all,i have a toy breed bitch with god awful bad breath.iv tried cleaning her teeth giving her denta chews and putting a fluid into her water,toothpaste that u allow them to just lick.shes eating rc so its a dried food...i took her to the vets for a descaling and shes said it wont cure the problem and will need to be done every 6 months......
any ideas.x

One of the downsides of keeping toys. 

The only real way to avoid too many descales is feeding raw chicken wings.

when we got one of our dogs she was 6 months old and her teeth where black they where horrible and breath smelly, we slowly changed her over to raw and now she has brilliant white teeth  the same as the rest, and we still brush all the dogs teeth with oral care gel from petz life they all queue up to get there teeth done.
