for the last 6 months my elderly bitch has had a tumor and due to her age i have not wanted her to go under the knife, she seemed to be coping ok, eating and running around and generally not acting like a lady should of her age she is loving having new pups in the house and is there with them as soon as they squeak and their mother just sits and watches as though be my guest, but for the last two days she has lost some weight and does not seem quite right, can't put my finger on it but we are off to the vets today to make sure she is not in pain and hopefully she is just having a couple of off days.

I'll be keeping everything crossed for her, it could be she just needs her med's tweeked.
they have kept her in going to run bloods, and some other tests she is really poorly my instincts where correct i dread tonight my daughter who many of you know is autistic knew she was going into the vets but will be devastated that she is still there they shared a bed together all these years and i do not know what to say to her as i do not want to build her hopes up and then have to shatter them

Oh dear I hope it is something that they can treat. There seems to be another group of people all with poorly dogs again so hope that we hear good news from all of you x

Lots of 'Get well again soon and hurry home to your family' wishes xxxx
not good i am having to make the dreaded decision , i am going to say goodbye tonight , a hug and a cry, hold her tight until she sees the light, let her go out of pain, although i know my heart will break i have to do what is best for her, she will always be a part of me in my heart where she will stay and hopefully one day she will be waiting the other side of rainbow bridge with those big eyes ,tail wagging so hard you think it would lift her back legs off the floor and that yoddle she always greeted me with.

Very sorry to hear that, being able to let them go is the last act of love we can show our dogs (((((hugs)))))) for you both.

So very very sorry.

I'm so sorry for the heartbreak ahead for you. :-(

So sorry.
So sorry, it is never easy but she is lucky to have an owner who loves her enough to let her go. Thinking of you all.
So sorry you've had to make that decision :(

So sorry to read this, you have to be brave and make the right decision at the right time for the dog.
Thinking of you at this sad time
