Hi, it is 5 years since last had hip scores done and they took about 6 weeks then. Anybody know about how long it is these days ??? My girl is booked in on 6th March  xxx

It depends, my bitches took 2 weeks but my dogs that I sent in stupidly over Christmas took 4 weeks.

I had a very quick result this time around.  We went to the vet on Friday 27th January and she rang me with the result on the morning of Monday 6th February - just 5 full working days later!!  Given that there was postage time at the beginning and end of the week I thought that was an amazingly fast service

... an excellent score too so I was thrilled to bits :)

The procedure notes say they expect to have them scored within 3 weeks of receiving them, so add on a week for Royal Mail both ways.

Any longer and it is likely something has gone wrong as with my friends boys recently, where the digital x-ray was in wrong file format and the Vet had to change the file type.
