My 12 week old Labrador (Toby) each time goes into the garden looks for cats poo and eats it. We have a cat and i am unsure how i could stop him from messing in our garden therefore do not know what to do.
Today is his first day of being aloud out in the big wide world for a walk but i am concerned about what else he may try and eat!. Has anyone got any suggestions?
Many thanks

Hi Darren
I have a 12 month male boxer pup and i had the same problem. Charlie would eat cat litter from the litter tray and also cat wee and poo. I asked my vet who said its normal for puppies to eat cat poo and will not do them any harm, but everytime you see your pup eating it giving him a firm telling off and i'm sure he will stop doing it.
It is also normal for a pup to eat horse poo as well!!

Cat poo an pee is a danger to other animals
cats are a big carrier of disease coz they rome in grass etc
clean ur litter tray after cats uses it an have a wee snoop round garden for poos
u cant really do much bout pees but shooo them away wen u see them squattin
