Since yesterday I have been seeing signs of my girl going into season, it this possible? because she just gave birth 2 December 2011.

It would make it about 4 ½ months since her last season so yes, a bit unusual but not impossible.

First season started 28 April 2011, Second season 20 Sept 2011.

Very normal for my girls, a couple here have 4 monthly seasons.

yes it is possible, I have a girl who came into season when her pups were just 11 weeks old, and is meticulously 4 monthly.

Are you sure it isn't still post whelping discharge? 

I have found some have bled on and off (old blood) up to around 12 weeks after the birth.

I would think it unlikely she would go a shorter interval than normal after a litter, if anything the litter might delay the season slightly as they normally won't come in season until their bodies have recovered and they are fully fit.

Third season mid February - just under 5 months between each; that seems nice and regular to me.

I do hope the bitch was well over a year old when she had her first season, if she was mated on ehr second.

most of my bitches show colour throughout theri seasons, often going on for 4 weeks.

But this is not the norm is it, usually very pale colour is what you are looking for, I use the test strips for signs of eggs as well, never been for the so called blood tests either, to grey area there.

I've NEVER had a bitch go paler colour, they all bleed all the way through.

My girl spots red all the way through, it is just heavier at either end of the season.

If I looked for paler colour I would rarely have got a bitch mated.  I generally rely on the stud dog.

I've only ever known one bitch have a paler discharge half way through her season; all the others have shown red all the way through, whether or not they were mated and got pregnant.
