This is urgent.
The owner of one of my boy's daughters contacted me on Monday to say she was having to rehome her. The breeder doesn't want to know. The girls owner said yesterday she has secured a place with the RSPCA from Thursday morning. The girl in question is 22 mths old and apparently great with people but HIGHLY dog agressive and has been since they got heras a pup and has attack all their other dogs !!!!!!????? We all know what's going to happen to a very dog agressive Bullmastiff at the RSPCA.

After a lot of begging and favour promising from me and my friends Ive managed to find her a place at a fantastic specialist large breed rehab /rehoming / fostering place but it's in Maidstone, Kent. The owner said it's too far to travel as she is in Liverpool. (Cue a punch in the face if I ever see her). I'm trying to get her to agree to meet me in Manchester so that I can take the dog as far as Birmingham and meet a courier to take her the rest of the way to Maidstone. Even though I'm not supposed to travel far from home/hospital as Ive been in slow labour for 10 days!!!!

Ive contact a few couriers and just waiting for replies, but please add any you can think of and I will work my way through them. I have until tomorrow before she goes to the RSPCA or by the weekend if something definate is arranged.

I can't take her in as I have 3 of my own, and a 2 yr old pup back for neutering/ training, an 18 mth old toddler and a baby due any second!!

I have never used these and dont now if they would be any good but I saw them and the dogs at a service area and were VERY impressed with the way they handled the dogs :-

Also have you tried Dog pages??? They may be able to do a rescue run from Liverpool to Kent with volunteeers???
Good Luck
Lea :)

Thankyou for your links, but she isn't willing to pay anything and she has given her to a friend. Some people just can't be help no matter how hard you try. I'm devastated.

I read this yesterday but as I was unable to help because I am the other end of the country, I didn't post anything.  Poor you.  And Poor Dog.  I so wish I could've helped with a transport run if that was all it would've taken.  I could see by the desparation in your post how much saving this dog meant to you and I'm sorry that it's not worked out but lets keep our fingers crossed that whomever has her now, has a good heart.

PS  For future references.  Other rescues help with desparate transport runs even if it's for different breeds.  I've fostered 2 afghans for goodness sake and I know less than nothing about this beautiful breed!! And I've transported many different breeds even though I only work with a specific breed rescue.  Sorry if I', preaching to the knowledgable but I just wanted to add that FYI.

Your a good person and I hope you soon post with lovely news about your baby!! Best of luck!
