I love playing hide and seek, although it does take two, one to hold pup if he/she doesn't know a wait command yet, it's so funny watching them trying to find you when your standing in the wardrobe or bath.

Box diving, get a big cardboard box and fill it with scrunched up newspaper, toys and treats and let pup scrabble about finding all the goodies, can make a right mess though.

scent trails, you really need hard flooring for this as you use cream cheese in a tube and lay a trail of tiny cheese dots for pup to follow, making the dots progressively farther apart as pup gets the hang of it.

Hunt the sausage(cocktail sausages) We hide them under corner of a rug , under a cushion (depending whether you do let them on the sofa or not )
Scent trail under a line of  upside down old cups . or plastic cups.I hide a toy or a bit of sausage under one.You can do this while pup is shut in  another room or it takes 2 , one to hide pups eyes.
You can progress this to rubbing scent on material , and hiding that , and then progress to clean line of material with your scented one dropped in the line , whilst pup hides his eyes of course (that takes 2 of you as well)
