I have given my girl the CHV vaccine after hearing horror stories of litters lost due to Herpes.
Today - 5 days after the first vaccination my bitch has started coughing, like a kennel cough???
Has anyone else experienced this?

actually there was two dogs in the waiting room...

We've used it several times with no probs.  Probably just coincidence.

Were any of them coughing?
I don't think I would associate herpes with coughing but it seems to me if you have recently visited a vet you had a fighting chance of coming across a dog with kennel cough or perhaps a floor still contaminated with droplets from a dog with kennel cough so I would be putting my money on that myself.

None of the other dogs were coughing...
We will see how she gets on, the coughing seems to have stopped now.
