I hope someone can point me in the right direction :-)  I am coming down to Neath to stay with a friend for four or five days in the not too distant future and will be bringing four medium sized working breeds with me.  My friend is new to the area so cannot help with identifying a reputable boarding kennel as she has no local knowledge yet and I wondered if anyone on here could help?  I will want to take the dogs out of the kennels for a short while on one of the days as we hope to get some photographs (my friend is an excellent photographer) but apart from that, they will be there for the duration of my stay.  I've had a google for kennels in the area but would prefer to have some recommendations from anyone who is local to the area.  I am not prepared to just 'take a chance' and because I live over 3 hours driving away, a pre-stay visit is not practical. I can't help with any recommendations I'm afraid but would your friend be able to do a pre-stay visit to any kennels?

Sorry I can't help with your question, but sometimes if you Yell search vets in the area and speak to them they MAY be able to recommend a kennels. If they all recommend the same one then it should be worth considering, or even getting your friend to visit.

Many thanks for the suggestions.  My friend only arrives in the area the week before I visit so will be very busy!  However, contacting local Vets sounds like something to try to begin with.  Will give it a go :-)
