Where do you find the information re: when the panel sits. I have a young bitch which is too young to be scored yet. I do not normally have mine scored until they are between 15 and 18 months old but we will be leaving the country halfway through the year and I want to leave it as long as possible but enough time to get the scores back before we leave so I am trying to get the timing right and if I can find out when they normally sit it would help me decide when to get her x-rayed.

Hi if its any help ive just had mine done in record time they were posted on the 8/1/12 and back with me on the 14th date of scoring was 12/1/12
elbows were scored on the same date but didnt come back till 18th
in the past ive had them take as long as 8 weeks but average seems to be around 21 days.

Do they sit at regular intervals? I thought not :-(

we had plates sent on the 12th, hopefully they will be as quick with our as well!
Could be we just missed the last sitting and have a long wait now :(...
I really hoped the results would come reasonably quickly so we have time to plan our travels for a mating in March :)

As I understand it they sit several times a month and if you have a longer wait it is either due to some issue or them having too many in to do in one go so are held until next session.

The procedure notes do say they aim to score in around three weeks from submission.

A friend recently waited a very long time and on checking it turned out there was an issue with the formatting of the digital x-rays.

Moral is contact your vet to contract BVA if nothing back in 21 days.
