I have a laptop and have just tried to reboot it. It now has a box on screen saying it is installing updates and not to switch off. It is on update 6 of 10. problem is it has been saying this for at least 45 minutes. Will it eventually finish? or is it stuck?  should I try to turn it off again? Help!!!

Updates can take a long time, and there are different factors that can affect the speed of them, like if the computer is older and generally slow. I would leave it and wait and it should sort itself out!
