Is there a page or pages on the Kennel Club web-site that lists the health tests which should be done on each breed ?

Yes there are, DNA tests as well as other compulsory/recommended ones listed by breed.

Some need more extensive testing than others.

Is this also for canada?

The organisations administering the tests will be different but the health issues tested for will be the same.

I know several breeders of my breed in Canada and the US and initially they would have to send samples to the AHT here in the UK, the uptake of testing has been very slow, false rumours rife, eventually labs over there were sanctioned to do those tests although the method of collecting samples is different and heard of many insufficient samples having to be repeated.

Australia and New Zealand also follow UK guide lines as presumably do many other countries.
