Can anyone suggest an alternative to Sebolytic Shampoo or indeed any other shampoo. My old boy (nearing his 14th birthday) has had this skin condition for a few years but as I wash them outside it is far too cold to do so with my old Saxon at the moment and he is now getting in dire need. Wondered if there was any other way around this may be a lotion that did not require to be washed off or something similar.

Maybe Doreen Paige has something, Nova?

What about just using bicarb of soda brushed into his fur ?, left a bit then brushed out, don't suppose it would be as good as the shampoo but it might be enough to keep the greasyness at bay, and it's cheap.
