Hi all I've just joined champdogs and so far love it! I was wondering if any body could help me? I'm looking to buy an ebt puppy in the spring of this year. I have done my research! Just wondering if anybody could recommend a good breeder to me! As there are so many and it's so hard to pick one! I want to buy from an acreditted breeder who is doing all the revelant Heath tests on their dogs! Thanks in advance!

EBT? Do you mean a Bull Terrier?
You will find the Kennel Club Assured Breeders listed here.

Good luck, they are mental!!  My dog walker has a couple and they are wired to the moon as are all the other ones I know but fabulous stunning looking dogs.

> wired to the moon

Superb description...lol

A friend has just taken on a rescued BT, after a lot of research, which included taking on a foster temporarily... Foster didn't work out (was wired to Mars and Major Tom as well!) just not the right one for them, but that dog has now found a better match, thanks to the rescue.

The one they have now, acquired through a private rehome, they love beyond measure and she is an absolute darling...

I thought EBT (English Bull Terrier) was their correct name too! I've always had a soft spot for the breed after reading 'The Incredible Journey' I must admit. :-)

No such thing as an English bull terrier folks.

Bull terrier and mini bull terrier are the correct names.

If you  pm me I have 2 show dogs and have a lot of friends who are very reputable breeders and can point you in the right direction.

lots of BYB out there with this breed so please make the right choices.
we did and have never looked back.

Do you have any recommendations regarding breeders of the minis?

Vanessa Hearne of warbonnet
or
quayardson mini bulls

I know Quayardson are active in showing and breeding mini bulls, not sure if Venessa is still breeding.

both very good kennels.

Don't people tend to call them an EBT to avoid confusion with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (SBT) and the Pit bull terrier Ect, all of which may sometimes be referred to as just a Bull Terrier at times?

hi there owner of bull terrier here ....different lines vary so much ....do you prefer the bull type ,terrier type and of course please make sure parents health tested and puppies Baer tested even if coloured ......congratulate you on your choice ive had many bullies over the past 35years and now have a bullie and a bulldog !!!

In the UK we have the 'Bull Terrier' and 'staffordshire bull Terrier', it is 'English Bull Terrier' in the USA.

Same as the Mastiff, is just the Mastiff in the UK not English Mastiff.

And Pointers, not English Pointers.
