We will be picking up our new puppy at the weekend and intend on showing her when she is old enough.

I have 2 questions really :-

1. When do you start training for showing in earnest?
2. Does anyone know anywhere good in the Middlesex area?

Cheers

Hi Heidi

I can't help with classes in Middlesex but just wanted to say I started my little one off at ringcraft as soon as she had had her injections. We used to do that one night a week and a puppy socialisation class (puppy free for all lol) another night a week. She was fine with ringcraft - for a few months it was treated more as socialisation and we didn't concentrate on the finer points - if all four feet were on the ground and she was happy to let people go over her (even if she was wriggling on her back) then in my mind it was doing her good.

Cheers Sarah. I have found socialisation classes, as my vet runs puppy parties. I may ask while I am there for a good place to take her for ringcraft.

Cheers
