After a very long wait I will be getting my new puppy in mid/late February...can't wait!
I live in Totteridge and walked my last boy in Trent Park, Hadley Woods, Totteridge Common etc. and was wondering if there were any members in this area who also have a new arrival due around a similar time and would like to start a puppy group, very informal...as and whenever...
If so I would love to hear from you.

What a lovely idea , puppy social interaction and play is important, not the walking part of it .Unfortunately one trainer thought it wise to let pups run free on a polished shiny hall floor ,amongst them a  hefty GSD  pup, and a couple fiesty border collie pups ,- a golden retriever pup sat and shivered under a chair , and I was haughtily asked why my borzoi pup wasn't allowed to join in .Can you imagine a borzoi baby like Bambi, with no centre of gravity , in that lot. We refrained, as so much damage can be done.

I know people often complain that the world has gone mad on risk assessment, but you'd think anyone with a brain would see the need for one in this situation and take some action to reduce the possibility of harm. I'm sure we've all seen the inevitable slips and falls, sometimes very severe, sustained by dogs and owners alike--time to get a grip on this, if you'll pardon the expression :-)

Aww, congrats! I used to live in Edmonton and can recommend Jubilee Park as a nice dog walking area (apart from a bit of food rubbish, but we are talking London...) and also the Enfield Chace DTC as a good training club with puppy classes right from when 2nd jabs have been done. I daresay there are other places and clubs closer, my memory fails me on exactly how close Totteridge is, but I know we used to do agility training at Trent Park so it can't be that far....
